for remote "keyless entry", "panic" alarms and greater handicapped
access, as well as traditional forms of access control, such as
keypads and swipe card readers.

Linear AE1000 PLUS
The Model AE1000Plus Commercial Telephone Entry System
with Access Control - Four Doors is designed for use as a
primary access control device for gated communities, parking
garages, office buildings, apartments, dormitories,
hotels/motels, commercial buildings and recreational facilities.
The AE1000Plus provides control for any combination of four
portals (gates and/or doors). It includes a
built-in radio for adding remote control via user transmitters, a
function enhanced by the fact that Linear is also a leader in RF
technology and offers the industry’s widest range of
transmitter styles. The
system is housed in a heavy-duty 16 gauge powder coated
steel cabinet with a 16 gauge brushed stainless steel front
panel.

Linear AE1000Plus Commercial Telephone Entry System with Access Control
Four Doors is designed for use as a primary access control device for gated communities, parking garages,
office buildings, apartments, dormitories, hotels/motels, commercial buildings and recreational facilities.

Housed in a locked, rugged stainless steel faced enclosure, the AE1000Plus features a side-lit 12-key
telephone style keypad with bright, easy-to-read graphics, a backlit two-line directory display with
programmable welcome message, a built-in microphone, speaker, and provision for an optional Model CCM-1
color CCTV camera. The cabinet is monitored with a magnetic tamper switch.

The four relay output channels can be programmed to control electric door strikes, magnetic locks, door &
gate operators, or barrier gates.

The system utilizes hands-free, full duplex telephone communications between visitors and residents for
granting access. Complete access control event logging, access time restriction, access location restriction,
and administration functions are also available to manage the installation.

For easy programming, the AE1000Plus contains Linear's built-in browser-based AXNET software. The system
can be programmed and maintained from any computer world-wide, without using dedicated computer
software. The AE1000Plus is also compatible with Linear’s powerful AccessBase2000 dedicated access control
PC software.

The AE1000Plus is network ready. AE1000Plus units can be interconnected with Linear’s AM3Plus and
AE2000Plus Telephone Entry Systems through a 3-wire RS-485 or modem network. The AE1000Plus can be used
in networks with the legacy AM-3, AE-1000, and AE-2000 Telephone Entry Systems in installations programmed
with AccessBase2000 software only.

Two Wiegand inputs are available for connection of 26, 30, or 31bit Wiegand devices (card readers, etc.).
Three sets of PBUS inputs are available for connection to Linear’s line of remote accessories.
