Gravity thumb latches are commonly used on wood gates. Typcally they are mounted on the inside of the
gate. Latches may only be opened from the side they are mounted on unless the gate is short enough
where one can reach over the gate. Latches are self-latching. For child safety, pair this latch with
self-closing hinges, a gate spring, or the Kant-Slam today for pool safety. Gate latches are available with a
rust resistant zinc coating or with a black finish. There is a provision for a padlock to be added. Products
are usually available for immediate shipment.

5". Striker fits gate frames of 1-/2" and up. Will work on gates with distance between the gate post and gate
upright of 1/2" to 1-1/4". Warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship by manufacturer
